Types of refractory balls:

High aluminum quality-this is the first classification. The refractoriness of this type of refractory ball can reach more than 1,750 degrees Celsius. It is often used in the high temperature area of the pebble bed, but due to its thermal stability and slag resistance defects, it may cause cracks or make the bed layer of the pebble bed insufficient air permeability. The ball must be cleaned regularly in a short period of time. It can ensure normal use. It is necessary to pay attention to the highest refractoriness that it can achieve, and it should not exceed its maximum endurance range, otherwise it will have a great impact.
Silica-this type is an acidic refractory material, which can be used not only in the high temperature area of the pebble bed, but also under conditions of large gradient temperature changes. Refractory balls of this kind of material tend to have poor alkali resistance, and it will be difficult to clear the balls.
Magnesium aluminum-this is the most advantageous of all types. It not only has alkali resistance, avoids slag erosion, but also has strong thermal stability. Therefore, this type is often used in areas where high temperature fluctuates frequently. Due to its own advantages, it has become one of the most commonly used types in ironmaking enterprises.
The above three different types of refractory balls can be said to perform their own duties, and the performance effects that can be achieved are completely different. When selecting, it is necessary to select a suitable type according to actual needs to ensure the normal operation of the entire operation link.
